Q: What is important to you when considering which CCS software to choose?

A: The main deciding factor was the capacity to register our bond fees – it was the big concern for us; finding a software that could accommodate our daily fees, bond fees and levy fees.

It was easy to see why we needed to change programs, and our parent committee and office manager understood why, because our previous software just couldn’t provide the functions we needed and the parents could really see it!

A: QikKids just makes a SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE to our days in the office and the families too, makes a big difference just supporting all our payments.

QikKids has great Financial Summaries too that we couldn’t access using our previous software.

And what’s been most VALUABLE to us is having our most challenging, urgent, pressing questions answered immediately by the Support and Training teams!

A: We wanted something that was intuitive to use, specifically in reporting, especially due to our different centre locations. No matter what form of payments we take, having a good direct debiting system is important to us

A: Before, I used another program that was so slow, outdated, not user-friendly. When I started my Director role at Active Kids Mt Gravatt, I told them I’m not even starting this job until I get QikKids because there’s just no point working with other systems.

I chose QikKids because it’s just always been the better program, it’s so USER-FRIENDLY and INTUITIVE to use! If you don’t know how to do something, everything is just there if you click around you’ll find it.

I stayed with QikKids because it just WORKS and works WELL – don’t mess up a good thing! And the SUPPORT that we get from you guys WHENEVER we need it has been great! Even during the extremely busy CCMS transition period, I could still reach you and get help!

It’s not just selling the product and stopping there; it’s about the whole QK offering, it’s the follow-through that counts! We get EVERYTHING we need outta you guys! We don’t get why people would even leave QK?

To us it’s not about the new, flashy and fancy, face-value products – it’s the substance and real value that counts.

 

Q: Does QikKids help to meet your service’s vision and mission?

A: ABSOLUTELY! All the time saved from using a good digital program like yours means I as an educational leader get so much more time on the floor to focus on programs & practice.

All the time I used to spend on accounts, phoning in and out, reporting, having to store all the signin/signout documents – became time saved to focus on the kids, support & train my staff!

What sets QikKids apart is their CUSTOMER SERVICE! We found QikKids 12 years ago and never looked back, it’s just been WONDERFUL!

A: What’s really really important to me, is customer service. Being able to support the software you provide, that’s what’s important to me – if you have a good software but no people to help and back it up, you’d just be another software in the market.

A: So what REALLY sets you guys apart is your customer service! If I have trouble, I know I can call someone anytime and they’re absolutely willing to help, even with silly things! Everybody’s just so happy, knowledgeable and helpful.

We’ve not explored other software before and we don’t need to because of QK’s excellent customer service!

We also chose QikKids for its CCS reporting capabilities that we use all the time – Standard reports for attendances, Age reports so we know how to shuffle children around the rooms, Qik contact list, medical list, bus list, Bulk email lists.

QikKids definitely has a RIPPLE EFFECT on our business – the less money we spent hiring staff for those admin duties that QikKids could automatically do; the more time and money we had to spend elsewhere.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – WE LOVE QIKKIDS!

 

I don’t usually rave about computer programs, but in our centres QikKids has just been a GODSEND!

QikKids has been such a massive timesaver for us – what would usually take me days or usually take me 3-4 hours took me just 30 seconds! The admin is just GONE, and I can do other things now!

A: We really needed a program that was really flexible and could cater for our extremely unique offering and complicated fee structures. We don’t just have casual bookings with many kids coming and going, but also have different types of care and fees, member and non-member prices.

So before QikKids we used to just have physical folders full of different names, fees, combinations of care types, all filed inside one folder manually.

With our previous software, one thing they couldn’t do that was really important to me, was the ability to manage having so many family accounts, each with multiple children. They also had quite limited reporting capabilities.

 

Q: Tell us about your history and experience using QK Technologies’ products and services? Why have you chosen QikKids to deliver this key piece of technology for your business?

A: QikKids had the extremely important features of being able to manage having so many family accounts, each with multiple children. And QikKids could do excellent reports on multiple family accounts.

QikKids payments has been really good because it allows us to track the family’s account balances even across different service centres now.

We found QikKids so easy to set up and easy to adapt it to all our different types of care, sessional, occasional, and long daycare, because the program has so many options to choose from!

Bulk emailing is also VITAL to us, it’s an absolute timesaver compared to other software, it’s such an easy way to communicate with 200+ ppl, families are always aware of their account balances, and there’s no awkward face-to-face conversations about chasing late payments / debt.

And now almost all of our other YMCA childcare services have switched to using QikKids as well!
